GIS for Archaeologists (Utah State University)
This graduate-level course  focused on developing theoretical knowledge and practical skills to use geographic information systems (GIS) in archaeological research and cultural resource management.  The course focused on developing skills through regular labs. Those included digitizing Sanborn maps relating to the Tulsa race riots, developing predictive models, and characterizing hydrography of landscapes.   Students applied those skills to final projects focused on their own thesis research.

Public Archaeology (UTSA-2023)
This Cultural Resource Management course served as an introduction to the history of archaeology on public lands in the United States, and how to develop a career in CRM, with a focus on regulations in Texas and San Antonio. The latter half of the course focused on performing background research, collaboratively designing a non-destructive study, applying for an archaeological permit from the Texas Historical Commission, and implementing that study on the UTSA campus.
One of my students, Krystal Vinson, wrote a nice blog about the course and published it on the UTSA-CAR website here.
